Obituary for Penny Lee Bragg (Patterson)
Penny Lee Bragg of Lambertville, NJ, died on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was 62 years old.
Born in Doylestown, PA on March 1, 1958, Penny grew up in Lambertville and Hopewell. She graduated from Hopewell Valley High School. Penny worked for several years for Kuhl Corporation in Flemington, but Penny’s real life work was in caring for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. You could not find a better friend than Penny. She could always be counted on to lend a hand with a project or lend an ear to listen to your problems. Penny had great energy and a sharp sense of humor. She was a kind, generous, beautiful woman with a big heart. Penny cherished spending time with those she loved, dancing with her beloved husband Marc, playing Bingo and visiting the casinos. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Penny is the daughter of the late William R. Patterson and the sister of the late Joanna Taylor. She is survived by her devoted husband Marcus A. Bragg; her children and their families Melissa Voudoris and her husband Christopher and their children Nolan and Cora Rose of Smyrna, GA; Jessica Freeman and her husband Frank and their children Ciara and Gerard of Ewing, NJ; Loren McAlinden and her partner Lou Sansone of Lambertville; and her son Marcus Bragg of Lambertville; Penny is also survived by her mother Dorothy Opdyke Dennis of Lambertville; her sisters Bonnie Wayman of Morrisville, PA; Debbie Lindblad and her husband Carl of Lambertville; and Jody Freeman of Lambertville; her brother John Patterson of Lambertville and her many nephews, nieces and friends.
At Penny’s request, her funeral services will be private.
