William Barry Falvo, 74, of West Amwell passed away on January 29, 2018. A loving husband and father, educator and leader, he is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jean M. Gioe Falvo, and his two sons, Dr. James V. Falvo of Cambridge, MA and Dr. Daniel J. Falvo and his wife, Marissa Monsanto Falvo of The Philippines.
The son of the late Joseph J. Falvo and Vera A. Falvo, Bill was born in Red Bank.
A graduate of Red Bank High School, he earned a B.S. from Monmouth College (now University) and master's degrees in Student Personnel Services from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) and School Administration and Supervision from Rider College (now University). Bill dedicated himself to his responsibilities at WCDTC, where the staff and students became his extended family.

Earning varsity letters in high school baseball and basketball, he became captain of the basketball team in senior year. In football, he received an award for most improved player. While an undergraduate, he was a founding member and officer of Theta Epsilon Chi, an independent fraternity.
An avid baseball fan, he organized the annual field trip and fundraiser to the Trenton Thunder baseball game for the Knights of Columbus, in which he was a Third Degree Knight. Bill was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe KOC Council and a member of St. George's Catholic Church in Titusville.
A 40-year resident of West Amwell, he loved living in the township and especially enjoyed sitting on his front porch having his morning coffee, surrounded by nature and often joined by his much-loved "pride" of rescued cats.
